Diogo Piçarra

Altice Arena, Lisboa Rossio dos Olivais, Lisbon

Diogo Piçarra's South Side Boy Tour debuts at the largest concert hall in the country, the Altice Arena. This will be the first time that the artist will give a concert in his own name in this room, and it will also be the first time that he will present the songs from the new album “South Side Boy” live. Diogo Piçarra arrives at Altice Arena after a break of more than a year from the country's great stages, having, during 2019, performed a very successful acoustic tour in the main national auditoriums, with more than 30 sold out concerts.

Cycle 30 Years | Oboe With Mozart

Museu Nacional dos Coches, Lisboa Av. da Índia 136, Lisbon

The honors of the house are done by oboist Sally Dean and violinist José Pereira, two figures who help to better understand the uniqueness of the Metropolitan project. Sally Dean joined OML in 2004 as Chief of Staff, after consolidating her career in England and Germany. You will announce this programme with a business card from your home country, a short solo piece entitled "Yanada" which means in the language of Australian Aborigines: Moon. In turn, José Pereira began his career in the Minho region, graduated from the Academia da Metropolitana and won the Young Musicians Award that same year 2004. He is now a member of the Remix Ensemble Casa da Música and 2nd Concertino of OML. The two musicians embrace here the music of W. A. Mozart. First, the only oboe concert signed by the Austrian composer. Then Symphony No 39, the most lyrical of the last three symphonies.
